Morning rituals being completed, I got TheHowserHouse prepared for the road on the outside....and then finished up inside as the 1st Lady finished her breakfast. By 9am....we were pulling out of the cg....and getting on the Interstate heading west across NY state...and then to Erie, PA, and finally we arrived at this wonderful rv park at Seville, Ohio......just south of Cleveland about 35 miles.
It was a place that we had had difficulty making a decision on......there just were not very many campgrounds between Cleveland and Columbus, OH.....that were ones we would want to stay overnight in. But.....as we drove down the road....I called this Campground....Maple Lakes RV Park/Campground. Arriving about 3pm.....we pulled in and I went in to register.....and it was the same lady whom I had talked with on the phone this morning in NY. After taking care of the necessities....and the $28 bill.......we followed the map into the campground.....and OMG....were we ever, ever surprised!!!
This place is beautiful.......so neatly trimmed, manicured, and even the permanent residents and the seasonal residents' sites are gorgeous! There is a large swimming pool, a lake to swim in, and a lake to fish in......all neatly trimmed on the shores. Large activity and sports fields abound.....and there are several pavillions and bathhouses......and just about any activity available you would wish to have. WOW.....we will certainly stop here again if we are in this area looking for a place to hook up the umbilical cords to TheHowserHouse.
Tomorrow, we will go into Indiana and stop somewhere along I-70....and then on to the stick and brick on Sunday. We only like to drive about 325-350 miles each day......leaving around 9am....and checking in mid-afternoon so that the rest of the afternoon and evening are ours to us to relax, sight-see, shop, or just kick back and have a glass of that famous dark red medicine.
More on the thoughts about the past eight weeks when we get home.......and then very soon, we will be heading to Florida to St. Petersburg........and will most likely be in Florida for a couple of weeks......at some damn hotel.....UGH!!!!! More on that utterance later.....
A great day.....a relaxing evening......and they both add up to assuring us that.....
LIFE IS JUST REALLY WONDERFUL!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
