Yep......it IS going to be a cold night down here tonight!!!!! We are at the Stone Creek RV Park, just 10 miles north of San Antonio.......not a very attractive place, but the price IS right. We belong to a campground group called Passport America......and there are right at 1500 RV parks that are members......and so, in those parks we only have to pay one-half of the actual price of staying in those campgrounds. It is a really great deal.........right after we joined last year while out in Arizona......the next place we stayed saved us the yearly dues.......on just four nights there. And....that was almost a year ago. We HAVE saved many, many dollars by being members.
We drove down here from Texarkana.....through/around the Dallas area(actually while Mizzou was playing in the Cotton Bowl and winning), down through Waco, Austin, and then arrived here about 4:30pm. Tomorrow we should be at our destination....Llano Grande RV Park.....by early afternoon and can then get TheHowserHouse set up for the next two months. The weather for later this week is supposed to be in the 80's.......YEAH!!!
Tonight it is supposed to be down to 26 degrees...........guess we will burn some propane tonight in the furnace. We have the fireplace going, the tellie going, and have had a light supper. All seems well here with us...........just anxious to get down to the RGV and enjoy all of the activities and fresh fruits/veggies, and the many trips over into Mexico!!!! Stay tuned for the daily happenings...........because....
