Day 16: BUSY, BUSY, BUSY......whew!!!!

I was up at 7am today.......I didn't sleep well as I have a bit of a problem in my right shoulder area.....just some pain from time to time, depending on the way I sit, or hold it, or lay. Anyway.....not to worry......this, too, shall pass.

However, I got my French Roast coffee made and moved as easily and quietly as I could so as not to wake the 1st Lady.......virtually impossible in TheHowserHouse with it not completely "anchored" to the land on a foundation, but on rubber tires. However, I was quiet this morning and had to awaken her at 8:15 as she had a Line Dancing class at 10 this morning.

With a modem that works.....I was online and "flying" through cyberspace with my morning reads.......soooo great not to have wait five minutes for a page to download..and then after that long wait to have my connection just close down. The wifi tower is not strong enough from where the tower is located to where TheHowserHouse is located.......soooo, again...it is great to have a modem.

My cell phone rang while she was gone.....and it was a voice from the past......40+ years past!! A high school classmate of mine....Dan(ny) Bunch, now of Kansas City area, called and we talked for almost 30 minutes.....catching up and discussing our families and our lives. We were friends in high school, but had lost contact of each other over the decades that have passed by. It was really great to talk to him......and we do hope that we can get together whenever either one of us passes closely to the other in our travels!!

When the 1st Lady returned from her class, we had a small bite of lunch.....and then rode our bikes over the Rec Hall for our square dancing lesson. WOW.......such amazing fun for some old farts like us!!!! While perfection might be the goal.....the lessons are so fun because we oftentimes break down and then the laughter rolls through the hall. It IS all about having fun.....and THAT we are doing! Meeting a new couple who are full-timers, we instantly enjoyed them......and looked forward to seeing them again. So, when the two hour lessons were finished we decided to all go together to the Buffet being held at the Club House tonight for all of those here in the Resort that want to attend.....and only $8 pp.

We rode back to our section of the Resort with Donna and Danny (from Kansas)....and they invited us in to their beautiful 5er for a glass of wine.......and some fun conversation. We were there about an hour and since they were also going to the Buffet with all of us, we all rode our bikes back to the Club House/Rec Hall....and joined the Ron and Linda(currently holding their residency in Texas). We talked and ate and talked some more........mostly about rving, full-timing in an rv, and places we have traveled to and enjoyed. It is absolutely UNREAL just how many thousands of people have sold their homes and are now Nomads traveling around the country in some type of rv!!!!!!!! It IS a wonderful lifestyle.....and one that has tempted us for a couple of years. We just call ourselves....."Almost Full-Timers".

After dinner....it was dark by that time.....all six of us rode our bikes back to the new section of the Resort where we all have our 5ers hooked up to the shore power by our umbilical cords. Six of us on bikes, riding a half miles through the palm tree lined streets...in the dark....and we began to realize it looked like some type of "biker gang"......hahahaa!!!! On bicycles......HAHA!!

Today???? Relaxed.....dancing.....eating....dark red medicine....new friends....dancing....eating....riding bikes....and have a fantastic time all day long!!!! What more could one ask for...........because.........

LIFE IS REALLY GREAT!!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
