Day 15: I KNEW it wouldn't last.......gray weather has arrived!

Yep......it WAS tooooo good to be true! This morning, as predicted, it was very cloudy, cooler, and breezy. By early afternoon, the showers had arrived.....and the forecast for tomorrow is at least 1/2 inch of rain. Shouldn't complain.....there hasn't been any rain to speak of for the past 45 days.......so, we will just take the rain that is coming and enjoy it....knowing that it IS needed around this area!!!

Our morning was a slow one........but, the 1st Lady did go over to the gym to do her exercise routine work-out. As I sat at home with my French Roast Coffee.....I turned on the tellie and watched her exercising......as we have in-house television here in the resort.

About 12:30 we left for Alamo Rec-V Park.......to take our Monday class in square dancing. There were quite a few more there today....and it was sure great fun. LOTS of laughter at the dumb and thoughtless mistakes we made......such fun!

Returning to Llano Grande, we stopped on the way at a couple of place to pick up some items of necessity. Back at home, it had rained some and I was proud of myself that I had stored the patio chairs, the bikes, and the BBQ grill under the bedroom overhang to keep them from getting wet.

We received a call from Bob and Beverly......members of our Cedar Creek RV Owners Club.....who are here in the RGV from Northern Pennsylvania....and parked west of here at Palm Shadows RV Park. We have made plans to pick them up for lunch on Thursday....and to get acquainted. We have not met them yet......and look forward to meeting them in person.

We have another couple to get together with who are here from North Dakota and are across the street from us. I mentioned them last night.....but today has just been toooooo damn busy to even walk across the street to talk to them. Tomorrow.......under an umbrella????

This evening we had planned to go....for the first time....to the Bean Bag Baseball activity at the Rec Hall.. This was the 1st Lady's idea.....not mine....hahaha. However, I was SAVED by the cable man.....yep, that's right: THE CABLE MAN!!! Next door at the RV parked there, they were having the same problems we have been having for almost two weeks.....weak signals on the tellie...and NO signals on the internet modem!!! Soooo, I looked out the window and saw this "team" of cable servicemen.....working on the unit next door's cable. Soooooo, I hopped out and went over and told them the problems we have been having......and that I reported them to the Main Office several times, with no resolution to the problem.

They were quite polite....and soon a young man was in our RV....checking over things. Sooooo, he said he would be back.....and as time went by, it was TOO late to go to the Bean Bag Baseball game.....YEAH! Finally, he returned and said that the cables had been cut....and would be back in the morning to make sure they were repaired (in the rain?????). Soooooo, we remained in TheHowserHouse for the evening of tellie shows with lots of lines running across the screen!!

Tomorrow.....??? We'll wait and see what the day brings. My Spanish class will not meet tomorrow as the instructors are in Houston for some meetings.......and the 1st Lady has Line Dancing in the morning. Then.........let's see what the day brings forth!

Gray....cloudy, rainy.......and some plans that didn't materialize.....however..............

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
