An exhausted, tired, old man Sunday afternoon....

The above title says it all!!! I and the 1st Lady are "done in" from a week with tens of thousands of pre-school and early elementary children and pushy parents. It was a super great week at Disney World with our Dr. Jeni and Darrel and the three granddaughters......don't get me wrong. I wouldn't give anything for this past week.........lots of fun, miles and miles of walking, and a great time with the three little ones!!

But......the crowds were soooooo huge....and it was so hectic just trying to get through the gates, bag checks at security, and trying to get six and a baby seated for meals. Actually the lines weren't that bad......for the big rides we managed to get the FastPasses which worked beautifully!!! We just should have made earlier reservations for the dinner hours so we could use more of the evening meal vouchers for "sit down" meals. Oh well.....live and learn......we had been told of this, but we just didn't do it.

Yesterday was hectic!!!! Checking out by 10:30, I stored the 10 pieces of luggage and bags which was an ordeal because of a huge line that snaked around the corner of the hotel.....everyone wanting to check their bags until their flight times. I did get it done, though....and we then caught shuttles to the Boardwalk area where we had lunch at ESPN Club. This was a nice place in an out of the way area.....away from the Kingdoms and Parks, but within the Disney complex. From there we took a boat where I caught a bus back to the hotel, while the rest of the family headed for MGM Disney to purchase a few more items.

I got the bags out of temp. storage and then waited for everyone to return.....and for the shuttle to the airport to arrive. The family returned just in time....and we finally arrived at the airport. What a bunch of long lines as thousands were departing and arriving........but, we managed to get inspected, checked in, shoes off, computer checked over, etc., etc., etc. and made it to the gate in time to get an early start in the "pre-board" line with Ava and the stroller.

The flight went well and we arrived back in STL about 8:20pm. We returned Rachel to her mother and grandparents and then we arrived back in F'Town around 11:30pm.......TIRED. Today has been one of just doing no more than necessary to exist........

I will get more pictures posted as the week goes by. We have to run to Kansas City tomorrow and return on Tuesday with TheHowserHouse. Then.......the rest of the week is up for grabs!!!!

I will close this for now.......and will post more this evening, if anything stirs me alive!!! Even being totally wiped out.....

Life is Great....and I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
