Day 25: Busy this morning - Relaxing afternoon

The 1st Lady is now enjoying a very early class over at the Rec Hall.......Tai Chi......and it begins at 7am!!!! Her self-disicpline at getting up while it is still dark outside is a bit more than I have after doing this for almost 30 years while teaching HS band and holding our extra rehearsals at very early hours. She left about a quarter until 7......and after laying there in bed for a bit more time, I took care of the morning rituals, made the bed, and was having my delicious Starbucks French Roast coffee when she returned.

After our breakfast.....we began to get ready to leave for our 10AM Saturday morning square dancing at Casa de Sol. Upon arriving, we were greeted by all of our friends there since we had been away from dancing for a week due to my trip to Washington, D.C. during these past few days. EVERYONE wanted to hear about the trip.......and these questions and discussions continued during our breaks during the morning. I was really quite surprised at the number of people whom we didn't know that became sooooo interested in my trip, the Inaugural, and my experiences while there.

When the dance was finished we invited Charlie and Katherine, our wonderful friends from Cornwall, Ontario whom we spent a week with this past summer........we invited them to join us and go to lunch together. We drove east to Mercedes to go to Mingo's Cafe.......a little "mom and pop" place we have started to frequent more often......as the food is quite good, the service is great, and the entire experience is very inexpensive!!!

After spending almost two hours eating and discussing our travels since we were together in Ontario last June/July, we parted with hugs. They had made a trip up to Churchill on the Hudson Bay with a small tour group and it was very interesting to learn of their journey and experiences on this trip. I shared with them my "lost ticket" story from this past week and, as with everyone, they were just as amazed at the way I "found" my Inaugural ticket.

We parted then......and the 1st Lady and I returned to TheHowserHouse at Llano Grande RV Resort. The weather had changed considerably while we were eating and talking......and with gray clouds, the strong northerly winds, and the dropping temps.....we decided to just kick back , rest, and enjoy some reading and resting! And that, we did.............

The evening has been spent watching some television, reading, doing some researching online, and........loving the peace and quiet of our home-on-wheels. Such a wonderful way of Life!!!!

And, as always....always.........

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
