Cloudy, gentle warm tropical-like breezes from the south, and the threat of rain with tiny droplets always giving a hint of possibly more to come. And so.........we declared this a day of doing nothing.....nada. Did we complete this mission??? HELL yes!!!
After breakfast....and the 1st Lady DID stay in bed until 9AM........we hung out here at TheHowserHouse until late morning. Then we were off on a bike ride around the north section of the resort.......and, who did we see after only riding a couple of mintes???? Yep......our good friend Diane!! We were riding by their motorhome....and out she comes with some news.
Doug is laying in bed with a terrible attack of some intestinal bug!!!! Seems he had been sick all night and was still not feeling well......UGH!!!!! We discussed the possibility of food poisoning, but none of the rest of the group from last night have become ill.....as far as any of us know. I do know that Donna and Danny were out and about....their truck was gone........and later in the bike ride, we met up with Ron and Linda who were fine and had been out on their motorbikes/cycles.
Sooooo, Doug.......our sympathies and get better knowing that we are all thinking of you, here in TheHowserHouse!!!!
My one job completed today??? With the gentle breezes directed at the rear of TheHowserHouse, I decided to wax that section only.....the one-piece rear cap of the rv. This took only about 45 minutes.......and then from then on......it was doing nothing for me. Late in the afternoon we did take another bike ride around the rest of the resort......and then returned to TheHowserHouse as the clouds were letting droplets fall down on us.
And so.......it has been an evening of reading and some tellie. There is simply nothing on the tellie that can hold my interest for more than a few short minutes..........DAMN. Saturday nights, fifty years ago, were the only night that had anything good on the tellie.........what a difference a half century can make.....HAHAHA!
Ok.........such a day as this can only reassure that even with nothing really occurring for us.........
LIFE IS REALLY GREAT!!!!!.......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
