WOW!!!!!!!! A GREAT night's sleep........finally!

409 Days Left

OH MY GOD........I went to bed at 9pm last night....and slept until 5:45 AM this morning without....WITHOUT...waking up during the night!!!!! What a difference that makes.....especially when I awakened and felt really well rested. WHEW...........let's hope it continues!!

Today? Nasty Misery winter weather.........cold, damp, and grey!!! Typical for Misery!!

After reading the papers online, having my Fr. Roast coffee from Starbucks coffee beans that I ground this morning, and then watching a bit of the early morning news shows.......the morning went by very quickly as we finished putting up the inside decorations. Nothing will be put outside as we leave toooo soon after Christmas.......no time to take them down........and I don't think the neighbors want to look at them until April!!! HAHA!!

This afternoon I had a few errands to make and I continually run into those who are aware of our trip.....and the question is always: Are you planning on sharing your trip with others from around here? Well.......sorry to say, our time is running out quickly......as we will be gone most of next week and then it will be the social activites of the season for the next week or so....and then it is time for us to escape this dreary weather in Misery and head south to the border...and the Rio Grande Valley!!!

Can hardly wait to leave and get down there!!! There is SOOOOOOOOOO much to do.....SOOOOOO many activities.........SOOOOOOO many wonderful inexpensive places to eat!!! There are other "seniors" in RV's from F'town who winter down there....and we certainly hope to get together with them. We also have many friends from the Cedar Creek RV Owners Club that will be down there........so it WILL be great fun....and probably tooo many extra pounds will be added to my sagging hulk!!

I found two pictures which were taken ......not by us....but that we purchased and for some reason......we had "misplaced"(is that sort of like our D.C. Administration saying they "mis-spoke"???). But......we ran across them this afternoon and soooo, I put them on here as a couple of pictures that haven't been posted.

HEY.....we FINALLY got our new bar stools!!!! The fellow from Bova Furniture in STL just arrived and brought them in the door!! September 17th was the day they were ordered.....almost three months ago. HAHAHA......but, stop and think, those of you who lived through the remodeling project that we did last year........isn't this just "par for the course" with the many problems we incurred during that remodeling process??????? HAHAHA......I can laugh about it now......last year was very, very different, wasn't it?

WOW.....the 1st Lady outdid herself this evening with an amazing salad accompanied by lots of garlic and butter infused shrimp!!! Oh was it ever soooooo tasty! This was washed down by some dark red medicine.......for my health, of course. And.......we ate at the bar using the new bar stools........cool!

Not certain if I will be able to post tomorrow.....we are going to the Lake of the Ozarks where my sister lives.......and do our annual Christmas visit. Think we will probably stay in Eldon at the local ancient motel there....and I believe they do have WIFI, but we'll see, we'll see.

A very good day....albeit the miserable weather.......but nevertheless......

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
