BRrrrrr.....this weather is changing...and not for the best!!!!! We went to see Mike today and by the time we returned late this afternoon, the north winds were blowing like a gale, the rains were beating against the windows.....and I am beginning to count the days before we leave for the Rio Grande Valley....Mercedes, Texas.....for three months. It is really hard to take after having experienced such wonderful warm and very sunny weather the past 2.5 weeks while we were in Egypt and the Middle East.
I have just about finished posting all of the pictures that I plan to exhibit on here. The rest of the many unseen ones are just different views and poses of some of those that you have already seen. Again.......if you haven't had time to read the posts and see all of the posted pictures, go to the November, 2007, ARCHIVE and you can begin there.
We are already beginning to think about the next trip...........oh yeah!!!!! You know my little saying: If you don't think BIG, nothing BIG will happen. And so, we ARE thinking BIG as we begin to recover from this last journey. Where to?????? Well.....we will be gone all of next summer to northeast Canada: Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and then down through the New England states. As to the world?????? We are beginning to think.......New Zealand! There we do not plan to take a tour, but to most likely rent a car and drive through the two islands ourselves. More research is necessary!!!
Have we fully recovered from jet lag??? Hell no!!!!! I still wake up in the middle of the night around 3AM....and cannot go back to sleep.......DAMN. By this time of the evening I am ready for bed....but I am attempting to stretch it out tonight and not go into my horizontal position before 10:30, hoping that I WILL be able to sleep the night through!!!
Not to worry!!!!! It doesn't make any difference, sleep or no sleep........because as always.....
LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!.......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
