Another morning of the same routine: up at 7am, read the papers, have some hot Fr. Roast coffee, and then after the 1st Lady comes downstairs, take care of the morning rituals. Breakfast....and then the 1st Lady went off to the Rec Hall for her Saturday morning Tai Chi experience.
Returning to TheHowserHouse, we jumped on our bikes and began to ride around the resort as this morning was the annual Patio Sales at the RV's or homes where there were things for sale that no one really wants.......including us!!!! We were chased down by Diane.....as she needed to put some food items in our freezer......their huge double door Norcold fridge was heating up and not cooling anything down. Soooo, we took as much as we could, let them use our two ice chests/coolers, and discussed with them about the steps that need to be taken to get some repairs, or at least a diagnosis......hopefully very soon.
This afternoon all four of us took a ride on our bikes.......rode around the resort and spent about an hour on the bikes. Needed the exercise....and enjoyed it a lot. A couple of drinks around Happy Hour time......and then after a great little dinner here at TheHowserHouse we spent the evening watching the Olympics.......on the Canadian TV station and on NBC. Really great to see both channels here.....and to get to see and hear two various perspectives of the competitions.
And sooooo, it was a really interesting day for everyone.....right????? Surely you have days like this, also......eh???? Just nothing very important happens.....yet, the day keeps moving and before you realize it, darkness is descending and the day is over before anything really important has happened. Yep.....today was just one of those days....
But.....no matter, because....as usual,
LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
