Day 39, Feb 9, 2010: Gorgeous and relaxing day!!!

I was sooooo tired this morning when I woke up......it was just a horrific experience to just pull the sagging hulk of Me into a vertical position!!!! Went downstairs....opened up one of the shades...and, WOW!!!!! A few fast moving clouds, but the sun was working it's way through them....and the air was nice and warm as I found out after opening a window or two. GREAT!!!!!!.....and, it only got better as the day progressed. 80 degrees today and the clouds left and the sky was completely blue!!!!!!!!

We had breakfast, coffee and tea,.....and enjoyed the first part of the morning just being here in this beautiful resort for rver's!!!!!! I meant to climb on to the top of TheHowserHouse today and take some pictures, but....time just slipped away and I didn't get it done.

We left a bit after 10am this morning: went to Penny's to return an item, and then on down Texas Street in Weslaco to the women's clothing store....."Wells". WOW...this is a really nice place with tons and tons of great clothes and accessories. The 1st Lady was in "7th heaven" there and we were there for waayyy over an hour. She did purchase a pair sandals which I approved of....!

Returning to TheHowserHouse.....we had a bite of lunch.....and not too much later, Diane came over and she and the 1st Lady left to go to one of the larger supermarkets in the area. They also went over to a lady's home in the resort.....as each of them had some alterations on some clothing items that needed to be made. They returned about two hours later.......and soon afterwards all four of us went for a bike ride around the resort.

As we passed by the Billiards Room in one of the smaller rec buildings, we decided to stop and play a couple of games. Well, it was a tie....the ladies won one....and Doug and I won the other one.

We rode at least two miles, perhaps more as we did ride along the levy that is between the resort and a small fishing lake that is in the shape of a boomarang. As I mentioned, I was really tired from last night's party......and when I did get to bed....I slept like a log, albeit it a short log.....just didn't sleep long enough! And....I have remained tired all day.....ugh!!!!

The 1st Lady, after we returned from the bike ride and billiards games, went to the laundromat here in our section of the resort and did a couple of loads of laundry. I fixed a few bites to eat......and a couple of glasses of wine to go with the meal.......lasagne. Really, really good.

The day has been relaxing......and, OMG.....sooo gorgeous of a day. Tomorrow....well, not too good is the prediction: highs in the 50's and cloudy. DAMN!!!!!! Oh well, it can't last long.....(can it?).

Spending the winter here.....our fourth one.....is soooo much fun!!!! Everyone here and in the entire RGV are soooo great, sooooo friendly....and sooooo welcoming. Such a joy to be here!!!!!

LIFE IS JUST REALLY WONDERFUL AND GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
