Well.....the weather is the main topic of discussion around here.......FLASH flood warnings out for tonight and tomorrow.....with 2-4 inches of heavy rain expected tonight through tomorrow and into Thursday!!! Sooooo, even though the temps are supposed to be nice and warm, the moving around outside will be somewhat limited for all of us in the RGV!!!
After the 1st Lady and I finished with the morning rituals, our breakfast, and our hot tea and Fr. Roast coffee........we took off for Penny's...and then on to the outlet mall. We went by Penny's new store where the 1st Lady made an appt. to get her hair, from her her haircut yesterday.....re-trimmed. The lady did not cut it even on both sides.....so she got an appt for this afternoon.
From there, we went to the Outlet Mall.....but, did not buy anything except a Grande Cappuccino for this sagging hulk of Me. After about an hour or so, the 1st Lady brought me back to the resort and then went on to Walmart, followed by the appt. at Penny's. THIS time they did a great job on her hair....finally!!!!!
She returned about 3:30 or so.....and we just kicked back for a while. We were having some wine and munchies when Doug and Charlie knocked on the door........telling us to join them in Doug's motorhome. Soooo, with wine in hand....we walked over there for some good times......and evening of good times. We decided to play Euchre.....and continued to do this for about 3 hours......a great evening with lots of wine, lots of laughs, and we three guys lost the Euchre match of three games!!! Diane got a bit tipsy, to say the least.....and right now, I am struggling to write this blog......I had WAAAAYYYYYYY toooooo many doses of my dark red medicine!!!!!! I will be suffering in the morning, I'm sure!
It is raining now.....not hard, but just a steady rain. We are currently planning to go square dancing in the morning, but if it is raining "cats and dogs", we might think twice about that.....we'll see.........
It has been a super day....with tons and tons of laughs and great fun this evening.....!!! And, as always.......
LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!.......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
