Day 12 and 13: How can you have sooooo much fun????

Ah yes......I know that there are those of you who are/were disappointed at not being able to read a post from last night.....right Doug???? Well......it was just one of those days and evenings when I was sooooo damn busy and then sooooo damn tired that I just didn't get it written!!!!!

Yesterday morning we began the day around the middle of the morning with a HUGE Club brunch.....and then the rest of the day was just spend in visiting with others that were here for the International Rally. It has been soooo great that we have had some of neighbors from Canada to drive down here and spend the week with us.........as they, too, are Cedar Creek owners!!! Friendship knows NO borders!!!!!!!

Last night......we had a final meal together, a rather prolonged business meeting and election of several new officers, according to our By-laws, and then we had some entertainment by a small group of Thespian actors/actresses from within the Club, and this was followed by the drawing of names for the literally hundreds of door prizes!!! WOW......we had sooooooooo many companies that sell rv related items to donate soooooo many wonderful gifts...and some were rather expensive!! No one walked away without their arms being overloaded with items that they can use as they continue this rving life.

Today???? Well, the rains came down very hard this morning for about 30-45 minutes and then it cleared off and became a gorgeous day......for awhile! The 1st Lady and I went to the Outlet Mall for a few hours and then returned to the Country Road RV Park where we are staying.

This evening it was another carry-in supper by those of us who didn't have to depart for jobs or home today. This was followed by another warm and wonderful campfire which brought out many stories and jokes with waves of laughter rolling across the rv park.

This has been just a fantastic week of friendships and activities and meals and meals and meals and meals!!!!!! By tomorrow noon everyone will have departed for all parts of our country. In fact....we have 7 rigs leaving for Alaska....a 2-3 month trip for these Cedar Creekers. Wish I was going, but we have been there before......and perhaps the next time we will go up with other friends from the Club who are not going this time.

I will post some pics tonight and then again when I get online the next time. Tomorrow we will be going to Indiana and may overnight at a Walmart parking lot which will most likely not have any Wifi.....hahaha! WalMart is supposed to be getting Wifi....we'll see!

If you have ever....EVER....had thoughts about getting an RV and traveling around our continent.....DO IT!!!!!! There is nothing as great as this.......and no group of people are as friendly as RVer's!!!!! What a wonderful way to retire.........and without a doubt....this is the very Best times of our lives for myself and the 1st Lady!!!!!!! Without a doubt......

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And....I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
