A sad day for it to be Easter

I received a call this afternoon that my mother had passed away. I will be leaving for the Lake of the Ozarks early in the morning with my own family for the planning of the services. Therefore....I will not be posting for the next few days.

My mother's LIFE WAS GREAT........a positive energetic lady that gave me my wonderful outlook on life and made me what I am today. May we all enjoy our lives just as she did her 93 years of living!!!!!!

John,
Sorry to hear about your Mother. I am glad you were able to visit with her recently before she passed away. I have been keeping up with your blog, and reading archives, since seeing it on a link from Michael's. We will remember your family in our prayers. Keith Settle

Mr. Howser

I express to you and your family my deepest condolences; please know you will be rooted in my prayers. What unspeakable joy it must be to be called "son" of a woman of such caliber and personality as your mother!

John, Allen and I met you this winter in the valley and got together for a Cedar Creek breakfast. So sorry to see that your Mother has passed but so glad that you got to visit with her.
