Day 8: BUSY, BUSY Day!!!

Absolutely beautiful day!!!! Warm, soft breezes, and bright blue sky.....this all lasted all day long. What more can you ask for in the first week of January??!!

The 1st Lady was up and gone by 9:30 this morning......Line Dancing and this time she was with Jane and Moe for the lesson. She then remained for another hour following their class......

Me??? I spent most of the morning outside washing the rear of the RV and then washing all of the windows so that we could finally see outside without looking through streaks and water spots and "haze" from the road grime that was splashed onto them on the trip down here to the Valley.

After lunch, we drove over to one of the 600 RV parks in the RGV to take lessons in an advanced level of square dancing. We were there for two hours.....and had a real Blast!!!!! It is always good to see friends that we made and enjoyed last year show up as they all begin to return to the RGV.......soooooo much fun and soooooo good to see them again.

Returning to the Resort, we sat back and relaxed a bit. Soon it was time to go over to Buzz/Moe's for Happy Hour.....and so we took some snacks for the others to enjoy. We were joined there by Pete/Jane....and Doug/Janet from Ottawa, Ontario. As always........we had just a wonderful, laugh-filled two hours with everyone as we snacked and drank some Corona's with lime. WOW..........soooooo damn relaxing and such wonderful fun!!!

Again, we returned to TheHowserHouse, grabbed a bite of supper....and soon, Ron and Linda(friends from last year) were at our door ready to go square dancing with us. This time we traveled west about 27 miles to the Mission area and danced for two hours, again. OMG......sooooo many of our dancing friends are back here......and it was sooooo great to be with everyone again! It is just nearly impossible to explain in words how great it is to be with such wonderful people again..........and to socialize, to dance, to be together again.

After over two hours of dancing/learning.......we returned back to TheHowserHouse and are now enjoying the peace and quiet of the our little home on wheels.........the 1st Lady is reading in front of the fireplace. Not that we need the warmth tonight.......it is gorgeous outside with a bright moon, a cloudless dark sky, and the temps at 61 degrees!!

Tomorrow???? Well, our schedule becomes more and more packed with activities.......just as it was last year. This place is just an amazing place........and so are the Winter Texan RV'ers!!!! Just can't explain it........you have to be here to understand what this is all about.

Tired, I am...tonight. Sooooo, what I am writing is more like rambling thoughts and so I will close out the day now. Another great day forecast for Thursday......YEAH!!!! And, with that great news.........how can it be anything but.....

LIFE IS JUST INCREDIBLY GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
