Monday morning: Yesterday was another busy day......a trip to visit Mike and then upon return, Jeremy had arrived to spend the afternoon and night with us before he returned to Evansville, IN. Within a few minutes of arriving back in town yesterday afternoon, we began to empty/evacuate the last room.....our guest room.....so that the floor refinisher could begin early this morning!
WHAT another task it was!!!! We have "stuff" stored everywhere in our house, which will have to remain in these step-around-them locations until Thursday. It took two solid hours of carrying, removing, and deciding where everything could be placed for a couple of days, including a king bed mattress and springs!!! Needless to say, our house is a total mess once again!!!! BUT.....BUT.....this is the LAST ROOM that needed professional assistance......we have a bit of detail work to do in the sun room, but perhaps by this evening that will be completed....I hope!!!!
This morning, I was up at 5:45.....made the coffee and then woke up Jeremy so he could shower and get on the highway to return to his office in Evansville......a four hour drive from here. Since the campaign is over.....his job has calmed down considerably.
Soooo, today....???? Stay out of the dust and hopefully keep the dust contained(hahaha) in the bedroom!!!! We'll see......and I'll let you know!
