The 1st Lady and I left this morning for STL to do some Christmas shopping......and, of course, we spent the entire day doing just that!!! Did we finish??? Hell NO........which means more to do tomorrow or next week. Next week is hardly an option as we have everyday "booked" with activities are travel to my mother's and to the 1st Lady's mother's house(s) for Christmas celebrations.
We had a very late lunch and then headed out to the Washington-New Haven area to the Moser Estate. We weren't really there too long before leaving to go the elementary school which is only a mile from their home. The place was packed......and Darrel and I arrived 45 minutes early in order to save seats....on the front row. HAHAHA!!! Were we ever wrong!! There were sooooo many others there ahead of us that we were about six rows back from the stage, which meant that I couldn't get any pictures of any quality of the concert/program itself. Oh well.......
We are back at Dr. Jeni's home for the night. The 1st Lady as a an appt. with her dental surgeon to check on the progress of the implants in her mouth.....and then we will do some more shopping. We are to have dinner with the Moser Family to celebrate the 1st Lady's 60th birthday....which actually is on Saturday. While the 1st Lady knows about the dinner....she has no idea that there is a bit of a surprise element that has been planned..........tomorrow she will find out!
And soooooo, another day of busyness.........is that a word???? Anyway......as usual,
