Day 28, Sept. 9, 2009: An afternoon in the mts.....

WOW.....it DID get cold last night, but not to worry about TheHowserHouse as it was nice and toasty inside all night long. Didn't get as low as predicted....and the water hose did not freeze. This morning.....another great blue sky day!!!!!

We decided to go out for breakfast this morning......and went into Thayne to the Star Valley Cheese Factory cafe.....yep, there IS a cheese factory here in town!!!!! And.....there cafe serves a really great breakfast at a very low price. Even though I do believe that they gave us the wrong breakfast....more than we should have had on the plates.....it was really great. Fried eggs (very fresh eggs), three huge pieces of thick bacon, LARGE Texas sized pieces of toast of sour dough bread, and some potatoes and peppers. GREAT!!!!!!! All for a total of $9.63 with coffee!!!!

Then, before long we were off to the Grey's River Road which follows along beside the Grey's River, obviously!!! The mission???? To find some good size rocks for our new lot-to-be to outline various areas/perimeters. And......we did find some that we brought back this afternoon. Along the way, we stopped and enjoyed the beauty of this river......crystal clear and sparkling brightly in the warm sunshine. We had a light lunch alongside the river.......loaded some more rocks(very small boulders) that we could carry and lift into the truck....and then after about three hours or so, we returned to the RV resort.

This evening, we brought dessert over to Mac/Gail's place and were joined by Revy and John for some "earthquake cake" that the 1st Lady made. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

And sooooo, this day went quickly.....as do all of them here in the Star Valley. Tomorrow we are going to Idaho Falls, Idaho for some shopping.....about 100 miles from here.....and the closest large town there is around here.

A great day outside.......and, as always.....

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
