A WONDERFUL day.....and MORE FOOD, again!!!!

WOW.....another outstanding day here in southwest Missouri......and here at the Cedar Creek RV Owners Club rally for Region 6!!!! Oh yeah.......we began the day with another great meal....this time a pancake breakfast with all of the trimmings......and we all started off the day with entended tummies once again.

Following the breakfast, many of our group went to the Precious Moments Chapel and store.......and from all accounts that I have heard, everyone really enjoyed this outing. I elected to remain at TheHowserHouse and relax.....and do some reading in what turned out to be a very, very peaceful morning! It was incredibly beautiful outside and so my outdoor lounge chair provided me with just the right amount of comfort for my reading.

This afternoon.........the 1st Lady and I played some cards.......again "Hand and Foot". We played for a couple of hours and enjoyed the game and learning more about two of the wonderful ladies who played with us!!

This afternoon while doing some errands in Joplin, a few miles from here, two of our group were involved in a car accident.......and their truck is no longer in condition to drive as their transmission cooler was crushed. Soooo, luckily they only live about 70 miles from here and one of the CCRVOC members will pull their 5er back to their home for them, if they can get the hitches to mate/coordinate with the truck.

Later we all went to the Kendrick House.......a brick house that has been in Carthage since before the Civil War. We had a catered dinner there in this grand old house that is decorated with period antiques. The meal was quite good......and the conversations were great, made more enjoyable by the various seating configurations. It was a fun evening.......and one that we do not usually do as a group.....at least not in this type of atmosphere.

It is amazing how well all 33 people who are here from all of the before mentioned states all blend together.....fit together.....and enjoy each other's company soooooo much!!! We all come from different backgrounds and experiences, but yet.........our commonality is the love of rving, and of doing so together. We have bonded together as a new family........albeit a rather large one, but a family that certainly does care for each member! We have one more full day together.....and then everyone will hitch up and return to the highways....some to go back to their stick and bricks.....others to move on to other places of interest and fun.

And so.........with another great meal planned for tomorrow.......and with having had two great meals today, how can things be anyone other than..........

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
