Yesterday.......a beautiful day, but I remained very busy getting the floors clean, finishing the RV, going to Farmington to get a haircut and to talk with the shop that sells electric fireplaces, a quick run through the Walmart Supercenter, and then back to the stick and brick.
Dr. Jeni, Meghan, Ava, and Max arrived about 8pm......and we quickly went to the "city center" of F'town to eat at the Olympic Steakhouse.....which on Friday nights has all the catfish you can eat for $8.99, including potatoes and bread. A great deal!!!! And....last night, we were the last group to enter, as it closes at 9pm....and by doing it that way....the fish was freshly fried and really, really GREAT!!!!! Love the way the prepare the fried catfish!!! WOW!!
Today....the house has been full of grandkids, friends of Dr. Jeni's who also brought kids, and then Rachel and Becky arrived in time for dinner this evening. Sooooo, noise and laughter and screaming reigns supreme here in TheHowserHouse. And everyone is having fun!!!
Soon the kids will be in bed....worn out, we hope...haha!!! Dr. Jeni is taking Meghan to the Hannah Montana Concert in STL tomorrow evening, so Ava and Max are remaining here with us tomorrow night. Darrel will come down Monday morning to get them.....as he is racing tomorrow night.
Then the 1st Lady and I will have to get going trying to decide just what we are going to take on the trip to Hartford for 8 days. Our flt leaves STL at 7:30am.....UGH!!!!! That means leaving here in the very, very wee hours of the morning in order to be there to get through security on a Monday morning at the airport.
And soooo, a good two days.......and one more to go! And.....as always,
LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!
