The first storm rolled over us before I was out of bed.....and then for most of the day, it was rainy....and, if not rainy, very cloudy. At 9am this morning, the street lights were still shining brightly with such dark low hanging clouds over Buford Heights....UGH!!!
But, the weather helped to keep me on task.....and that was to decide which clothes to pack to take to Hartford/New England for the next 8 days. We don't usually travel with luggage.....we have our huge closet in TheHowserHouse on wheels....and so, to get seveal days worth of clothing, shoes, sport coat/slacks, dress shoes, sweatshirt, jeans, etc. into a suitcase and keep it under 50 pounds....well, it took some planning. The damn suitcase weighed in at 12 pounds completely empty.....and then the 1st Lady decided to use only a carry-on bag, so some of her things "HAD" to be put into my suitcase!!! But.....we will get it done by the time we leave the stick and brick in the morning............
At 4AM!!!!! We need to be checking in by 6am....and that means to get up to the airport, park and catch the shuttle to the terminal by that time. Not an easy task as I am not sure there is a 3:15AM on my alarm clock.....who in their right mind gets up at that time to take a little journey????? I sure as hell don't do it very often!!! The last time was when we flew over to Cairo, Egypt a couple of years ago.....and that WAS a long day!
Soooo, I am going to bring this to a close.......finish gathering up all of the tech equipment/cords/chargers/batteries/etc and put them into my shoulder bag.....and get to bed before too much longer. Hope to be posting everyday, but that might not be possible.....never know.......
LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
