Day 69(Monday): A bit late on this.......

MORNING!!! Yep.....it is actually day 70 as I begin to write this post. I was soooooo damned tired last night that I just crawled upstairs and managed to quickly get into that favorite night-time horizontal position on our king-sized bed. Sooooo, with the morning rituals completed and one...no, two...cups of Fr Roast coffee stimulating my mind this morning........yesterday, day 69:

After breakfast and coffee....and after the 1st Lady had returned from Tai-Chi....a class she now has to leave here in darkeness to attend.....we took a bike ride around the resort. A beautiful, albeit humid morning, we rode through all sections of the resort and made stops at the Library, the Rec Hall, the mailboxes, and then through each street in our section of the resort, the "new" north section.

Later in the morning, she went to WalMart for some of Life's necessities...and while she was gone the resort's cable service guy dropped by...as I had sent in a work order to see why we couldn't receive the ABC channel on our cable here at the rv.....as everyone else COULD receive it! He fixed it....a problem with the underground cable to our power post......said that the resort guys would come and bury the new cable this week. THAT is not my problem, but I am glad that they fixed it!!!

The afternoon went quickly.......and it became pretty warm, VERY, VERY windy, and the humidity was higher. I became a veggie during the afternoon, doing some reading....and enjoying another day outside here in the RGV!!

The 1st Lady fixed a great dinner: some type of quick fried fish with lemon-pepper on it, rice with fresh veggies and THAT was all we needed. We quickly cleaned the kitchen and then we were off to the square dance over at Pharr. It was a very LARGE dance with the floor filled with squares....and it was fun. Many of our friends were there which always makes if more fun!!!

Returning here to the resort around 9:45pm........we crashed as I said above. And.......as always, Day 69 certainly assured me that.......

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
