Day 74/Day 75: WHEW......these days are going waaaaayyyyyy toooooo fast!!!!

A quick and brief catch-up...........yesterday: The morning was nothing special....another gray, drizzling, coolish morning...which evolved into another gray, drizzling, coolish afternoon. Edmunton Doug came over and he and I went to the Rec Hall to talk with the Resort's Activity Director.....who wasn't there! And so, it was a wasted trip of one mile.......but, we will try to visit with her tomorrow or Tuesday as we would like to discuss bringing square dancing activities back here to Llano Grande.

The afternoon went swiftly..........Ottawa Doug came over and we visited for over an hour. We haven't been together for a week.......and the 1st Lady and I will only be here for one more week.....DAMN,DAMN,DAMN!!!! Then she and I watched the Mizzou BB game and as soon as it was over we hurried over to Pharr to square dance last night, arriving a few minutes late.

Today????? Another gray, drizzling, coolish morning. I took care of the morning rituals, watched the Sunday morning talking heads programs on the tv......and then Edmunton Doug came over and we drank coffee and chatted and a bit later, Diane joined us. By that time we had already made plans for tomorrow and Tuesday, as well as tonight. This afternoon we spent over at Edmunton Doug and Diane's motorhome, playing Canasta and a new dice game that the 1st Lady and I had never heard of before today. The afternoon sped by....and soon we four were speeding to Pharr for a square dance tonight.

The RGV is a BIG center for square dancing during the winter. Any day of the week there could be as many as a dozen dances each morning, each afternon, and each evening........yep!!!! Hard to believe, I 'm certain, but the choices are varied as each caller has much to offer, and some of them, on the other hand, are not as good as many. Sooooo, you soon learn which dances to attend and which ones to not attend.

And soooo.......this is one damn boring blog posting!!!!!!!! Oh.....I did make reservations for four nights in San Antonio beginning on the 23rd.....next week. We will be staying south of the city and will see some friends while there, as well as, hopefully, having the opportunity to see my cousin who lives in the city. Tomorrow????? We are invited over to our friend's rv.....the ones we visited in Cornwall, Ontario last summer....and we will have dinner with them and two other couples who we sq dance with. Then we will all go to see "Laughing Bird"......a muscial/comedy show that we saw last year and soooooooo enjoyed. If it is only half as good as last year's performance, we will be rolling on the floor in laughter.....!!!

It is still drizzling,.....actually it is raining now outside......a very new sound for us since we rarely have heard the pitter-patter of the raindrops on the roof since we arrived almost three months ago. BUT.......this pattern of clouds and drizzle is to come to an end tomorrow!!!!! YEAH!!!!

We have to make one more run to Mexico this week; we have a St. Pat's Block Party here in the Resort on Tuesday afternoon/evening with musical entertainment; we have seveal eating engagements(lunch/dinner) during the week, several square dances to attend, and then by the end of the week I have to get TheHowserHouse ready to roll once again. I'm not ready to go!!!!!

And so.....two days flew by and I apologize for not getting this written.....I DID think about it and felt bad last night when I just crawled into bed exhausted.......and that same procedure is about to occur in a few minutes. Ahhhh....the rain has stopped outside!!!!! And soooo, these two days have disappeared........but, you know.....they have been fine, even with the weather problems.....and, as always....ALWAYS I'm certain that.........

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
