Day 41: WOW......what a beautiful day!!!!

And yet......ANOTHER beautiful day...all day!!!! The morning began cloudy and warm.......but....but late morning, the clouds were gone and clear blue sky emerged and with the sun beaming brightly, the temps rose and reached the low 80's for the day.

The 1st Lady and I met the morning with the usual rituals.....and then by 10am.....we were on our way for the next few hours. We went to the Post Office.....and she stood in line for 30 minutes just to get a couple of packages mailed to Missouri. Then.....off we went to Victoria Palms RV Resort to go to their Craft Show. This took longer to park and un-park then to visit the show. It was virtually the same crafts and stalls as the one we had in Llano Grande so there was nothing new to enjoy.

Leaving there we went around the block and stopped at the Fruit and Veggie Market.......our favorite. The 1st Lady went inside and quickly made her purchase while I stayed with the truck......there were NO places to park, so I just drove through the parking lot and then waited by the door for her. She purchased a couple of beach towels and then we left for Casa Del Sol RV Park for our square dance lesson. On the way, I stopped at a local gas station where they sell fresh and HOT tacos/tortillas......and I bought one......YUMMY!!!!! Soooooo damn good with the strips of beef, green peppers, onions, and tomatoes in this wonderful juice.......soooooo good!!!

Then arriving at Casa Del Sol, we realized that the hall was not air conditioned!!!! And....with the high humidity, it wasn't long until everyone was drenched from the dancing exercise. But.......we continued for two hours......and then, quickly left and returned to TheHowserHouse following the instructions.

On went the A/C.....and soon, TheHowserHouse was cool and relaxing. We relaxed for a couple of hours and then took a bike ride around the resort for almost an hour......and this was followed by a stop at Ken and Jeanne's Cedar Creek......where we saw pictures that Ken and Jeanne had taken on some of their trips.......all, like us, on their computer. It was great to see them.....and the photography was outstanding!!!!! Thanks, Ken!!!

Returning to TheHowserHouse....just across the street....we called it a day....and fixed us a light supper and then settled down to watch the tellie and to find out the results of the primaries in LA, WA, NB.......and it appears Obama has won all three!!!!

It has been a great day.........the only sad news is that Ken and Jeanne will be leaving in the morning for more of their travels here in Texas, before they return to North Dakota.....Brrrrr!!
We will miss them!!!!!!

And sooooooo, without a lot of wordy adjectives as usual, I will close this for this evening. As I said, it was a beautiful day, a very warm day, and a great day...........but, we all know that....

LIFE IS REALLY GREAT!!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
