Day 37: A beautiful, relaxing day........

WOW!!!! Did those strong winds ever howl last night......and did they ever rock TheHowserHouse!!!! However, this home-on-wheels stayed ON it's wheels and we were just rocked to sleep as those winds continued through most of the night. Today? OMG.....this was the warmest day we have had down here. It was 88 degrees the one time I checked....and it felt like 96 degrees, so the weatherman said.

We were really lazy this morning.........and after our morning rituals.....and our Fr Roast coffee and hot tea, the 1st Lady and I decided to take a bike ride through the resort. I quickly checked my email and had one from my good friend, Pete from Las Cruces, NM......a fellow Cedar Creek RV Owners Club member. He had said he couldn't get any rv sites down here later this month and said they would not be coming down here from where they are currently camped in the Corpus Christi area. I emailed him back and told him I would check around to see if there were any available sites in any of the rv parks that I thought they would enjoy. Well.......

During our bike ride, we went by the "Hacienda" office.....and, YES....there are four openings that are in the newest section of the park which just opened last week!!!!! And, the openings are the correct dates for Pete and Jane....and Jack, their dog. Soooo, I called them to let them know....and soon had a return call that they now have reservations to stay here in Llano Grande from the 17th to the 24th of this month!!! YEAH!!!!!

The 1st Lady and I continued our ride for a while.......returned to TheHowserHouse......had a light lunch....and then decided this would be a great afternoon to go to the pool. And.......it was a great decision........it felt great, it was great to lounge by the pool, and it was soooooo damn relaxing!!!! A great way to spend the afternoon!!!!

Late this afternoon, I went to WalMart.....just at the wrong time.......5pm!!!! But.....I wandered around and picked up the necessary items and returned back to the RV........about an hour to make the 4 mile (I think) trip, shop and return. UGH!!!!!!!

After a wonderful salad with chicken breasts laying on top of the greens, we visited with Danny and Donna.....whom we had not seen for several days. We plan to square dance with them tomorrow......two sessions and then we will have had our exercise for the day.....right??

Today???? A great day....!!!!! And........it always goes to prove that.....

LIFE IS REALLY GREAT!!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
