HELP.....need advice/help!!!
Is there anyone in the Wash D.C. area aware of any available rooms in the D.C. area for the Inauguration of President Obama???? If you have any ideas, contact me through the "Comments" section as to how I can talk to you.......
I lived 25 miles outside of D.C. for 8 yrs. I would recommend considering staying somewhere out of town like Manassas or Leesburg. Both are within 15-20 min drive to a Metro station, which is the best way to get in/out of the city on busy days when parking will be at a premium. You can buy a Metro ticket that will work all day or just pay by the ride. Stops right by the White House. Also, don't let anyone fool you into buying inaguration "tickets" without doing some research. Unless things have changed (and things are indeed changing), for as long as I lived the area, the inaguration was FREE to the public...but there are a lot of scams out there. If you have more questions, email me at rhoffman@mtsu.edu. ~Rhonda
