Nasty morning........wet, humid, but warm!! During the morning it rained briefly....just enough to get things wet, no matter where we went!
We left the RV around 10 or perhaps a bit later and went over to Dr. Jeni and Darrel's rented house. They were in a tizzy trying to get things packed and the house put back in order........originally they were to be out by 3pm, but the received a call from the rental manager and they needed to be out by 1pm!!! By the time we arrived, we were in deep discussions....the 1st Lady and I......discussions about what we should do.....move on down the road, stay here and explore, stay here, explore and relax.......go several different places????? All of these created some animated conversations............
Soooo, the internet was down when we were at the rv, so I dropped her off at Jeni's house and I drove down to McDonald's where I can get on free wifi. BUSY, it was there.....tons of spring breakers dropping in for an early lunch....or a late breakfast(most likely that was it). I checked out some rv parks around Apalachicola area......and called a couple of them. Only one was available.....all of the rest were filled to capacity for the next couple of weeks......UGH!!!
By noon, Darrel had their Suburban loaded and packed, so we all drove back to our RV Park.....and we took Max with us. Darrel and Dr. Jeni, Meghan and Ava were all going to Riple's Believe or Not. Max fell asleep before long.......soooo,
I checked with the RV Park office to see if we COULD stay here another week......and, with a bit of juggling, she was able to let us stay in the same site without having to move TheHowserHouse. Sooooo, we made the decision to remain here in Pamana City Beach....until March 22nd. This will give us time to make some day trips around the area.......and.......AND.....
Our good friends from Cornwall, Ontario, who have been in the RGV all winter with us....well, they are going to Florida....and since we are remaining here, they will arrive on Monday evening and stay with us in the RV Park until Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW......it will be great to see them!!!! Charlie and Katherine are such great friends!!!!!! Perhaps we can even locate a good square dance in the PC area!!!!
After Darrel and Dr. Jeni returned, we all went to Pier Park for the first time........to eat at Margaritaville!!!! WOW....what a super shopping center this place is!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just amazing!!!! Not having time to shop nor wonder, we were seated in Margaritaville.......and I had the best damn "Perfect Margarita"!!!!!!!!!! Sooooo smooth, sooooo easy to slide down my throat.......soooooo strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than one would have been great, but decided to not get to the staggering stage in the middle of the afternoon.....hahaha!!!!! Lunch was great for all of us.........I had the fried fish Tacos.......and they were sooooo much better than those I had yesterday at Sharkey's on the Beach! I could eat those every day for lunch......along with that Perfect Margarita.....haha!!!!!!
Darrel and Dr. Jeni and family left from the Pier Park for Lewisburg, TN.....a long drive this evening. They have an appointment to see how their motorhome is coming along......a customized RV set up just the way they have wanted it.....should be great for them and his racing hobby!!!!!!!! Anxious to see it, I am...I am!!!!!
The 1st Lady and I came back to the RV and just relaxed and kicked back to enjoy some quiet this evening. Tomorrow?????? Weather is to be great, so I am sure we will be out and about for the day....YEAH!!!!!! And.....as always......
LIFE IS JUST INCREDIBLY GREAT!!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
