Monday: Whew....really steamy and hot today.....

Ahhhh......this was another of my early days. Was up and going early....and then went over to Kemp's Auto Body shop to check on my mirror. Left the truck with them, as it had arrived...and reminded them that I needed a left turn signal bulb installed. Then after being picked up by the 1st Lady, I went by Plaza Tire to get those tires on the Park Avenue balanced again. Got an 11AM appt.....and then went back home to get some things on done on the RV.

Took the Park Avenue in and in 20 minutes drove away, and hopefully, the tires will not shake the living daylights out of us the next time we have a roadtrip. Later this afternoon, it rained just a wee bit, but enough to halt the roofing work. Soooo, we probably will not leave here until Thursday....arriving in Estes Park on Saturday sometime.

We continued to load the necessary items which somehow had walked back into the stick and brick since we last used the 5er!!!!???? I washed the windows on the 5er...and began to gather together the tech equipment we need to take with us: GSP, Cobra walkie-talkies, tech box with cords/cables, etc., XM Radio, camera with tripod, iPhone cables/cords, laptops and necessary items for them, RV Parks guide books, etc., etc. Sooooo many items that we need to have at our fingertips when traveling across the country.

This was another of TheHowserHouse's Panini nights........REAL fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh picked basil from my herb garden, Ciabatta buns, thick peppered bacon, and a little bit of Zatarain's Creole Mustard on the buns........grilled on the George Freman electric grill.....and OMG......what tastes....what flavors!!!!! The melted cheese dripping down over the bacon and tomatoes....the crisp crunch of the grilled artisan buns,....my mouth is watering right now even though I certainly am not hungry!! And....of course, the one thing I do not write quite as much about.....my dark red medicine. Tonight I uncorked a bottle of Pepperwood Grove Cabernet Sauvignon.....and it was wonderful!!!!

This evening I worked on the upcoming band reunion....and did contact a former student who graduated from Eldon HS in 1982....and no one had heard from him since he finished college. WAS HE EVER SHOCKED!!!!! Soooo good to talk with him....and he just couldn't get over the fact that I had found him after all of these years!!!

And soooo, another day has passed in my ever shortening Life span, but.....you know...as always.......

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
