HOT!!!!

It has been another hot and humid day.....UGH!!! I would MUCH rather have the cold weather than this stuff.......I just do not function well at all in this humidity/heat. My body is very quickly......in a couple of brief moments.....with moisture and it is not pleasant! It just totally saps my strength....my entire being. I would hate to live this way every damn day!!!!!

We went to visit Mike today....and got back about the middle of the afternoon. From that point on.......we were gathering up the last things that we can't live without for an unknown amount of time. If our plans come to fruition, we will to from New England down to the Tampa, FL area before returning to Missouri in late August. BUT.......if is this damn shoulder of mine begins to give me more pain than it usually does each day and night, we will return to Misery to see some medical professionals....quickly.

Think we are ready to pull out in the morning.....fairly early, I hope. It is 342 miles to our reserved rv park for tomorrow night....in Kankakee, IL........and then on to Shipshewan, IN the next day...only 160 miles then. I am a bit concerned about all of the water and flash flooding that is now occurring and is predicted again for tomorrow and tomorrow night......will just have to keep a watchful eye as we go down the road.

And sooooo, I should....I say SHOULD....have wifi tomorrow night and I will write about our trip. I just this minute, as I write, received a call from our friends Chuck and Sue and the are now at an rv park outside of Steelville, MO....and will be taking the same route as we are to Kankakee....and we will either join up tomorrow there, or perhaps on the road as we go that way. Many of our friends who have Cedar Creeks from all over the country have already arrived in Shipshewana.......and others will all be there within the next two days.

Sure hope the weather clears up for the week..........that is a really BIG "hope". And sooooo, a hot/humid/busy day is about to end......and as always....

LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!......And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
