Day 15, Jan 15, 2010: WOW.....an exhausting day!!!

A VERY cloudy and foggy morning today.....it was soooo dark outside at 7am that before I raised the blinds I thought my clocks were wrong. BUT....it was the heavy and dense fog out there that kept it soooo gloomy!!

However, a nice breeze arrived around 8:30....and the fog disappeared quickly across the RGV. We left a few minutes after 9 for Casa del Valley....one of the almost 600 RV parks here in the RGV....and this morning we wanted to dance with Riley calling, so we drove over there, taking Doug and Diane along with us. It was a really fun two hours of square dancing.....with tons of people there!!! Wiley Hutcherson is just a wonderful caller!!

Then, from there we went over to McAllen to shop at the local organic grocery store....and found several items we purchased, including some fresh cut meats.....t-bones and hamburger which looked really great!!!! Close by was one of the Holiday Liquor Stores....where I ran over to pick up some bottles of wine...cabernet sauvignon.....as I am getting a bit low on the daily dark red medicine. I bought two bottles of the Bodega "Norton" cab......a date of 2008, but the price was right.....and that is important, isn't it???

Then, we were off to Sam's Club for some more shopping. It was finally almost 2:45pm when we finally returned to the resort, and unloaded our groceries and other supplies. The 1st Lady and I then kicked back and relaxed for a bit. Doug came over to assist me with trying to get some pictures off of some CD's that I have stored my pictures on.....and we couldn't really get a new program to work. I think for some reason, I didn't "close the deal" when I finished adding pics to these CD's, so I hope I haven't lost all of those pictures.

We had a drink.......and then the 1st Lady fixed some of the wonderful ham we purchased at Sam's Club.....and OMG, it was wonderful.....just WONDERFUL!!!! Looking forward to enjoying this again....and again!!!

Then.....we picked up Doug and Diane and we drove over across the resort to the Llano Grande Rec Hall for an evening of Dancing......an event sponsored by the Resort to get some enthusiasm worked up about line dancing, square dancing, trail dancing.......all types that are offered here at the resort. There were lots of people there and everyone seemed to have a great time......including the four of us!!!! However......it made for a long day as we were there for almost three hours!!!

We returned to TheHowserHouse and are enjoying just sitting and taking in some tellie shows and relaxing. Both of us are tired.....5 hours of dancing, some travel time, some shopping time, and just a bit of down time.....BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!!

And, as always..........

LIFE IS JUST SOOOOO INCREDIBLY GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!
