Day 18, Jan 18, 2010: Another beautiful day....another day of shopping for upcoming wedding.

Ahhhh.....another gorgeous day...and once again that very large flock of parrots awakened me at 7am!!! I took my morning coffee outside, following the morning rituals....and the parrot flock flew right over the RV during their morning fly-by. What a sight!!!!!

And soooo, today was dedicated to some serious shopping for some dresses, etc., for the upcoming wedding of our youngest son, Jeremy. Soooo, off we went around 10 am and returned at 5:30pm this evening. But.......after many hours of gathering up dresses, taking them into the dressing room areas....and then going out to look for some more......she did purchase a few to bring back to TheHowserHouse to make some final decisions........comparing and trying them on in the comfort of our home-on-wheels! And....I think she has about made her mind up as to which of these she wants to keep.

We had no sooner returned home, unloaded the truck with packages and hanging clothes, then Diane and Doug came over to see what she had purchased.......sooo, in a short time the evening's style show began as she modeled the new outfits for them. Approval was unanimous......and so she felt good. It was not a pleasant day.....as the hours seemed long as I did the running and the selecting and the observing of the process she was going through. But......I do believe she is satisfied....and so, perhaps...we can get on with our winter adventures down here.

Diane asked to come over for some split pea soup...and after a couple of glasses of my dark red medicine.....we all went over to their motorcoach to have a light supper. Following the wonderful soup, we then played Sequence until about 10pm.......with Doug and I winning the evening!!!!!!

Tomorrow.....well, we will dance in the morning...and then I DO want to get the truck washed and begin the same process on the RV. They both need a good washing and waxing and I'm sure hoping I can get this done during this week of great weather. It was almost 80 degrees today, but the winds out of the southeast were quite strong. However.....I will gladly take them in comparison to the cold and dampness that we experienced the first two weeks that we were here.

Soooo....a day of shopping....of being inside dept. stores in a Mall......a day of not really getting to enjoy the beautiful weather......but a day of some big accomplishments in the wedding preparations. Now.....just to get down to the final details.......hmmmmm.....how long will that take?????

And, as always.......

LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
