Well....what do I say??? It was another day of clouds, dampness, drizzles, warnings of heavy rains and flash flooding, and yet.........it was a very enjoyable and fun day!!!
Up at the regular time, read the online newspapers until the 1st Lady was up and going, the completion of my morning rituals, and then outside to clean out the basement, dump the holding tanks, attach another hose to clean out the holding black water tank, and then have a cup of coffee with Doug.
We left at noon for the western end of the RGV, over at Mission, to square dance for a couple of hours. A good caller.......but only a couple of squares were there. However, it was a really good two hours.....excellent caller...and some very friendly people dancing today.
Following the dance.....we went to Dillards. Why??? Well, we need to get some clothes found and purchased for the 1st Lady for the upcoming wedding. Doug and Diane drove today, so the and this sagging hulk of me went around gathering up various beautiful dresses, both long and short lengths, for the 1st Lady to continue trying on these gown/dresses, and then we would bring her some more. Ahhhhh....think she was enjoy this...and it was fun for all of us. We did this for over an hour.....this Dillards is a super store.....very large and full of great clothing!!!
She finally bought a jacket and blouse/top that can be used in many different ways.....a good all-round choice for her!!!! Then.....we stopped at Starbucks for Doug and myself to get a bit of caffeine....and then we returned to the resort. Lightning in the east......out over the Gulf, I suspect.....brought back the thoughts that we are under a heavy rain warning. However......the radar appears that the heavy rains are further east of here out over the Gulf, but going up the coastline.
Tomorrow........well, we will see what the morning brings forth. We PLAN to go to another dance at 10, but......who knows. We like to be flexible when we can. As yet, we have not had time to go back down to Harlingen to get her new bicycle....and we DO need to do that!!!! Ahhhh, just never enough time to do it all........don't you find Life the same way?????
Nevertheless......as always.....
LIFE IS REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
