Whew....what a humid day.....and just when I have had to spend a great deal of time going and coming from the stick/brick to TheHowserHouse every few minutes. I had to get things loaded from my personal items and clothes and books.....to the basement where I carry all of the necessary things we need along the way or MIGHT need along the way......to stocking the refrigerator, the pantry, the other food storage areas, etc., etc. The 1st Lady returned about the middle of the afternoon and then I wanted her to check to see if I had loaded the things she needs for the food preps that she does. Then she had to load her personal things.......
Then a couple of our neighbors were walking by and stopped to visit and since they had not been in our house, we gave them the "grand tour". Think they were surprised at amount of room we have and immediately fell "in love" with our new rooms and remodeling projects that are now complete. They both said it looked like something from HGTV.......a nice compliment!
This evening....a quick visit with Sue/Dave Hanner at TheHannerHome......for a bit of cheese and wine......and lots of playing catch-up on our lives. They have been in Minneapolis/St Paul for the past six weeks doing their job: catastrophic insurance adjusters. As they never know when they will be called out to someplace where disaster has struck, we try to enjoy what few minutes we have together!!
And sooo, tomorrow we are off to Carthage, MO.......to the Region 6 Cedar Creek RV Owners Club rally. Should be able to post from there without any problem........"should be"!!!!! (Been thinking much more about taking this little lappie to Egypt/Jordan with us in November after having talked with soooooo many others from around the world who have carried theirs with them to Egypt. Since we are staying in 5 star hotels......our rooms should be safe.....again, "should be"! Still thinking..........
LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
