The evolution from summer to autumn.......YEAH!!!!

Today......windy, cloudy, damp,.....and then a couple of hours later, the evolution of the summer season......this year's an extremely hot and dry summer......and into autumn!!!! WOW!!! Was it ever a GORGEOUS day today.....crisp blue sky, wonderful breezes, and the high temp in the middle 70's!!!! I could barely make myself go into the stick and brick all day........I just remained outside. First I mowed some of the taller weeds and strange grasses that had managed to survive and grow. Then I took the clippers and deadheaded some flowers, the 7' butterfly bush, and trimmed around some of the plants and azaleas.

I had lunch outside, I had my "5 o'clock somewhere" dark red medicine out on the patio, and barely managed to drag myself inside to fix a light supper. And, after that I had some hot tea on the patio as I read a book on Jordan from "The Lonely Planet"........a great guide/informative book.

Today......there were the usual number of readers, but someone who was on my site looked at several hundred pages of the blog!!!!! WOW.......they either read fast, or were just picture lookers. Anyway........if you read this, GLAD YOU WERE HERE!

I've been thinking of how to condense my next Life's chapter.......yep, it is a full 13 years of my Life. And.......a lot occurred during all of those years, but I do not want to overwhelm you, my cyberspace friends and readers. Still getting requests for MORE in each chapter.....more stories of my travels, experiences, etc., etc. Hmmmmm.........

We are making plans for a two week journey in TheHowserHouse across the state to the Region 6 Cedar Creek RV Owners Club Rally......and then to Roaring River State Park, followed by a couple of days at Osage Beach at the Lake of the Ozarks. I have to be in Eldon on October 6th as I have a contract on the house, and that is the date of the closing, assuming that nothing happens and the sale falls through.

And so.......my day has slipped away all toooo quickly. We need soooo many more of these beautiful days......I hope we get them! But, even if they don't arrive.......

Life IS Great!!!!.....and I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!!!
