WOW…..what weather for June!!!! I awoke early this morning to begin the task of preparing to move TheHowseHouse, but heard the cold rain pelting down on the roof, so I rolled over and dozed for a bit more. Finally……I decided to shower, and wow…..did it rain then!!! BUT……by the time I had my coffee prepared, it was snowing!!!!!! And, it has been snowing all morning (noon now), and it is beginning to stick on the ground and trees. BIG heavy flakes that are sooooo wet that they almost knock you over as if you are being bombarded. OHHHH SOOOOO PRETTY!!!!!! (NOT good for fishing, tho).
We decided not to move to the Teton National Park…..about 75-80 miles up the road. And after going to the office to pay for tonight, I learned that Jackson Hole and the Park were really being hit with big time snow………will winter never end up here???? The truck already has at least an inch of snow on it and it is not stopping. We may be here another day…….enjoying the extra time for visiting the McDonalds, but I know they have things to do to get ready to go back up to Alaska. They are selling their house up there, and will be living in Arizona in the winter and here in Star Valley in the summer. They must be back down here in Wyoming by October, as this resort park closes for the winter then and they will have to get their park model house winterized and pick up their other car to take down to the desert.
Ok……enough of this wintery rambling……it is spring, isn’t it??? OR, is it???
The afternoon became worse as it snowed very heavy large snowflakes that covered almost everything…….at least 2-3 inches of the wet stuff. This weather, as I said before, is getting very OLD…..it is not supposed to be January. I packed up the basement of the RV, took the bikes apart to carry in the rear of the truck, and generally got prepared to leave in the morning…….I HOPE. The disappointing thing is the forecast which calls for more of the same……for several days. UGH!!!!! What to do…….what to do???!!
Still thinking about moving up to Teton park, but will wait until morning to see how things look outside. Low tonight around 30 degrees………
Enough of the weather…..we had dinner with the McDonalds and so after a couple of doses of red medicine in the stemmed glass, I was feeling better about the weather……and everything……Hahaha. Soooo, now to post some pics from today……..

It was 90+ degrees in Vegas and my pool was up to 96 when I got home from work. Yea it was too hot but great after the sun went down. Glad to see your having fun. You are welcome to head this way if the snow gets too much for you.
