The size of the bottle of eye drops that cost $80.00 following my eye surgery, one bottle for each eye!

Now I understand why you had problems with your left eye a few days ago. Even that small bottle in your photo is much too large for your eye.

John, we would be interested in the Italy trip, if you have room. We didn't go ahead and sign up for that other trip Chuck was telling you about in Hannibal. Let us know when you find out. Sue

Hubby had to have those when he had his eye surgery. After buying one bottle, he asked the Dr. office (Wolf eye clinic) about it and they gave him a bottle, didn't charge him. Sometimes it pays to ask.

So sorry Mr. H that you had to buy that...I have two full bottles paid for by insurance from the lens implants Eric and I just had done! That stinks!! But glad you are doing better!!! I have to tell you a story about my eye. Meredith, our 3 year old hit me straight in the left eye about 5 nights ago on an accident with the end of the remote control because she wanted me to put Dora the Explorer on for her. Now this is the only good eye that I have because when I was five a pepsi bottle exploded in my right eye. I have had many surgeries and finally last year they were able to put in a new lens and with glasses I can see 20/50 and 20/20 in my left eye without glasses! Anyway back to the story. Meredith hit me in the eye with the remote control 5 days ago and it knocked me to my knees. I just held my hand over my eye and got up a couple minutes later. Nothing ever bruised or even puffed up. Well...two nights ago I started rubbing my eyes because I had enough of Chemistry for the night. When I rubbed my eye it was so so sore all of the sudden and a couple days had passed so I really didn't know what it was. The next day I woke up and it was swolen and I called the doctor and they thought it was a stye (sp) and told me to use warm compresses. The next day which was this morning I woke up and it was almost swolen completely shut! Well now I know what it feels like to be legally blind! That was my good eye!!!! I called the doctor again...he sent me to the eye doctor here in town and then he sent me straight to the surgeon who did my lens implant. The first eye doctor thought that he might not want to touch my only good eye and sent me on for a second opinion! So we get down there and he has to pull my eyelid up and the whole thing was filled with fluid and the whole area was so swolen. So he gave me some numbing drops and told me to hold still. (yeah right) Then he procedes to stick a huge needle in my lid to drain it. It was so gross and it hurt so so bad...I would rather have another baby then to have them touch my eye again!!! So we get it all cleaned up and I go on home! I wasn't even 5 miles down the road and I screamed so loud for Eric to turn around something was wrong! It felt like someone was scratching my eye with sandpaper! Well we figured out that the numbing drops wore off. So they called me in some Tylenol 3 and I took one and then got red splotches and started itching all over...Geez...So now I am just sitting here with an eye that feels like it has a boulder under the lid and trying to just deal with it. So the final verdict was that I got a bacterial infection from either the end of the remote or rubbing it. Now I have an antibiotic because it is a bacterial infection and something for pain that makes me sick! Anyway just rambling on and on and I need to be studying Chemistry! Hope you are feeling better! Talk to you soon! Lori:)
