Another day here in Virginia.....in the suburbs of Wash. DC

As I am writing this post THIS morning(Tuesday).....I can cheerfully say that the cold rains of the early morning hours have disappeared and the sun is now streaming in the windows of one of my favorite places to have breakfast: Panera Bread!! I stopped in here yesterday morning for my cappuccino and pastry....along with the use of free wifi so that I could publish my post yesterday morning. And......so, I am doing the same this morning.

Yesterday was a full day. After leaving Panera Bread....I drove the 30 minute drive up highway 123 into the suburb of Vienna......There I located the funeral home and the church for today's services. After 11am, my youngest cuz arrived at Dulles International from Tampa, FL.....and we hooked up at the home of my deceased cousin, Sonya. Her husband, Don....and her sons were there and so we visited for a brief time.....as they had other obligations to fulfill for last night and today.

Lynn and I then got her checked into a hotel.....and following that we met with one of Sonya's sons, Greg and his wife, at a local Mexican place for a few afternoon drinks and mucho talk. We then returned to her hotel and dressed for the visitation last night. After that.......I returned to Woodbridge.....south of Vienna about a half hour through constant suburbs and stop lights.

A brief visit with the Powers' family.....and then it was lights out.....and I was CERTAINLY out!!!

Today......I was up and going and have had one cappuccino already with some more of their wonderful pastry rolls. I will be driving back up to Vienna before long.....as the funeral is at 1:30. My plans from that time will be to hit the highways and attmept to get into central West Virginia before finding a hotel for a short night of rest. I need to get to Cape Girardeau by late afternoon so that I can try out my new sunglasses which have arrived there........hopefully they will work and that the lenses are correctly centered, etc., etc. I do not have enough time to return them and have them sent back to Cape before we leave for Cairo, Egypt EARLY next Wed. morning.

Ahhhhh......what happened to my relaxing mornings????? I seem to be on a tightly knit schedule now as the days roll quickly into the week of our departure for the Land of the Pharaohs. Oh well.......it certainly makes Life interesting.....and it really energizes me to have soooooo damn much to do in such a short time. HAHAHA........almost like being a band director with such a tight schedule......hmmmmm.

Life IS Great!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
