Yep......yesterday, I was on the patio with my Fr. Roast coffee and thoroughly enjoying the gorgeous morning, albeit plenty of dew was smothering the grass and the patio chairs, etc. However.....turn the chair cushions over and it was dry enough to sit with that great cup of coffee and enjoy the quietness of the morning.
We did some yard work during the day, played with yardsticks, measuring tapes, and tape as we plotted out the options we have for remodeling the bathroom........not nearly as big as we think it is when we are looking at bath showrooms!!!! And.....not any way at all to enlarge the footprint of this bathroom....it is definitely locked in to what it is!!!
Yesterday evening, we went out to the Hanner House and enjoyed a relaxed, non-stressful supper of soup and sandwiches. Then...it was a few hours of the board game "Sequence".......a fun game with opportunities for a bit of planning in order to work for that winning play! As always.....lots of talk, lots of conversation with wine and drinks.......and just some fun times.
Today???? We made a trip to the local library for the 1st Lady to pick up some books to read as we are driving down/up the highways in the next couple of weeks. Then it was off to Walmart to pick up a few items..........
The afternoon was spent doing some things on computers and then a bit of yard work as the temps began to cool. Tomorrow.......it will be a time of packing and getting the house ready to lock up, WITH the ALARMS ON, notify the local police that we will be gone, and make arrangements for our yard and the Bollinger's home's yard to be mowed. I have taken on the little task as Corky is still in an assisted living care taking home in Farmington.
All in all.....not an exciting day, but one that has kept me busy with planning our trip, getting some good directions to the hotel in the city center of Philadelphia....etc., etc.
And....as always.......
LIFE IS JUST REALLY, REALLY GREAT!!!!!!.....And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
