Day 33: WOW....WOW....WOW!!!!!

OMG……WHAT a fantastic view this morning, looking out the rear window from the den…..the sun was reflecting off of the waters of the Bay of Fundy…and was sooo bright that you had to squint to see clearly. The waters were calm…..barely a ripple as we looked across the Bay and could see Nova Scotia on the other side. WOW….WOW!!!!

We scurried around after completing the morning rituals…..and I quickly drank a cup of my hot French Roast coffee….and as I went about unhooking the umbilical cords, the 1st Lady completed storing the loose items in THH for the 100 foot move. We had to move as we had extended through tonight and the site we were in was already reserved for today/tonight. Within an hour we had moved and were set up again just as were an hour earlier and 100 feet farther south………an easy move to say the least.

We quickly had a bite to eat, more hot drinks, and then anxious to get moving we jumped into the truck and off we went to the Fundy Trail. It was a 7 mile paved road that led us to about 8 various stops along the cliffs and bluffs above the beautiful Bay of Fundy….and each of these stops provided us with another viewpoint…..gorgeous!!!! Absolutely unspoiled by any commercialism of any kind……and soooo very, very, very few people out and about to enjoy this unspoiled, pristine area of New Brunswick!!! We had packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed it as we sat in awe of the beauty of this area of North America……not one boat, not one noisemaker of any kind, nothing except perhaps a dozen or so vehicles of other “lookers” during the 5 hours we were driving out and back on this Trail. Along the paved road were both hiking and biking trails…..for the entire 7 miles. The pictures which I took along this Trail, simply and quite honestly, do not in any way show the splendor of what we saw……sorry.

OHHHH…..didn’t tell you that on this Trail we came across a sign that said “Check Brakes” 14% grade descent!!!!!!! And…then a mile on down the road, another sign that said the same things, BUT…..it was a 16% grade descent!!!!! THANK GOD, I was not towing TheHowserHouse and all of it’s 14,000 pounds!!!!!!

We regretfully returned to St. Martins, stopped for some fuel for our traveling day tomorrow, and again I bought a couple of delicious pastries from the local bakery/quick stop/gas station/hardware store…….all wrapped into one little shop. Remember….this is a very small little fishing village where everyone literally knows everyone else….and all about them.

Returning to our campground which is right on the Bay…..we just kind of kicked back and enjoyed the views of the Bay….and visited with a few people whose RV’s are near us. I grilled some hamburgers and the 1st Lady put together a potato salad and some green beans….and we had ourselves a feast while enjoying this beautiful Bay…..so peaceful, so calm, so unspoiled by loud pleasure craft, sooooooo stunning. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can see the Bay from the rear window and could see a few dolphins playing and jumping in the Bay this evening…….what a sight…..what a view from TheHowserHouse!!

And soooo, another day starts to fade as the sun is now down and yet, we can still see the coastline of Nova Scotia across the Bay……50+ kilometers away. How lucky I feel tonight to have had the opportunity to be able to spend a couple of days here in this magical place of North America!!!!!!

LIFE IS SOOOOO INCREDIBLY GREAT!!!!!….And, I hope it is for all of you, also!!!!!
